Client: Holroyd City Council
Architect: Graham Bakewell Architects
Sector: Education, Training and Institutional Buildings
Budget: $1,500,000
In conjunction with the architect, services consultants and building contractors, this building was constructed to house the Holroyd State Emergency Services and Training Facility. This exciting project adapted recycled modular buildings donated to Holroyd City Council. Construction began by removing unexpected contaminated fill and resulted in a modern building which is both functional and sympathetic to the surrounding environment. The landscaping uses drought-friendly Australian native plants to further complement and soften the buildings, as well as reduce the buildings environmental impact.
